Summertime calls for luscious, fresh puddings. Who doesn't love strawberries? And even better, a strawberry dessert? This tiramisu recipe is thanks to Chef Kamu, who has been teaching her followers how to make all sorts of delicious food through her Instagram.





Ingredients:

  • 200ml double cream
  • 500g mascarpone
  • 5 tablespoons of brown/coconut sugar
  • 2 vanilla pods
  • 600ml almond milk
  • 100g white chocolate
  • Savoiardi (sponge fingers) biscuits
  • Fresh mint (as a garnish)
  • Strawberries (approx. 0.5kg)

    Method:

    1. Whip the double cream for a few minutes.
    2. Gradually add and whip the mascarpone into the already-whipped double cream.
    3. Sweeten with sugar of your choice and add your seeds from the vanilla pods.
    4. Heat up the almond milk in a saucepan. Keep this at a low temperature and add the white chocolate. Wait for it to melt.
    5. Wait for the mixture to cool down.
    6. Dip your Savoiardi biscuits into the white chocolate mixture and arrange in the bottom dish of your choice.
    7. Continue with a layer of mascarpone cream.
    8. Add a thin layer of sliced strawberries.
    9. Keep adding the layers, as much as your dish allows.
